As the air turns crisp and the leaves start changing, it’s the perfect time to embrace all of the festive activities. All of a sudden, everything feels very Gilmore Girl core and we're here for it. So much so, that we've planned all of our autumn outfits already. Here are five fall outfits ideas for your dates this fall:
At the winery...
Fall is a great time to visit a winery and enjoy the changing leaves. Outfit Idea: Go for a nude peacoat, black turtleneck, black mini skirt, sheer black tights, (Threads have the most durable option for the most affordable price) and heeled knee-high boots. Don't forget to take pics!
While apple picking...
You can't go through fall without going apple picking. You'll want to dress comfortably, while maintaining some style. Outfit Idea: A cozy cotton sweatshirt paired with leggings, cute socks and Ugg tasmans. This creates the perfect casual, yet put-together look. Top it off with a warm and trendy black vest if it's extra chilly outside. Style Hack: Wear some opaque tights under your leggings for some added warmth.
In a haunted house...
For a spooky night at a haunted house or corn maze, you'll want to be both comfortable and ready for anything that could come your way. Outfit Idea: Go for a leather jacket over a minimalistic hoodie, paired with jeans or leggings and cute runners (incase you need to run for your life).
For the pumpkin patch...
Celebrate the Halloween season by visiting a pumpkin patch! It’s the perfect blend of low-impact activity and photo ops. It's also the perfect place to bring a new love interest for that hard launch on socials. Outfit Idea: Pair blue jeans with a chunky knit sweater and ankle boots. Don’t forget to pack a lightweight jacket for layering as the day cools down.
For a movie marathon...
A Halloween movie marathon calls for a cozy outfit. Outfit Idea: Think oversized sweaters with big sweatpants, fuzzy socks or slippers. If you're hosting or heading to your girlfriends', a sweatset is always the presentable, yet appropriate option. Perfect movie picks include Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, or Halloweentown!
Happy Autumn Ghouls and Ghosts!
