I Tried All Of Starbucks’ Fall Drinks So You Don’t Have To

As soon as the nights get colder and the leaves begin to fall, we pull out our Threads tights and the rest of our fall wardrobe to get ready for the new season. But nothing gets us more excited for fall than the infamous, seasonal Starbucks drinks that come along with it. To get you prepared for this year’s line up, I have tried (most) of the Starbucks fall drinks you will want to get your hands on tomorrow morning.

To begin, possibly the most loved (or hated), recreated drink from Starbucks is the PSL (The Pumpkin Spiced Latte). Not only does it make a cute complimentary accessory to our Threads tights for our outfit pictures, it is, essentially, fall in a cup. Personally, I am not a big sweet-tasting, warm drink kind of person, but I can get on board with the occasional PSL. Substitute milk with oat milk for any warm drink and I am sold, (and maybe minus a few pumps of syrup). However, I will happily finish a PSL.

If you are a fan of the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew may be your perfect fall drink substitute. Starbucks' classic cold brew coffee topped with the creamiest pumpkin flavoured heaven you could wish for. For those who refuse to switch from icecd drinks just yet, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew gives you just the right amount of sweetness and fall flavour mixed with the classic taste of Starbucks coffee.

New on their fall drink line-up this year is the Apple Crisp Macchiato (which can also be iced). Complete with Apple Brown Sugar Syrup and Spiced Apple Drizzle, this is definitely for those with a sweet-tooth, especially for fall flavours. Not being a sweets person, this one was a little overwhelming in flavour and didn’t offer enough rich espresso taste. I have to admit, it does feel like you are drinking an apple crisp dessert, but not in the way I would hope. This one is definitely reserved for an occasional sweet treat and not a go-to morning coffee order, I don't think anyone could handle that much sugar on the daily.

Overall, Starbucks never fails to be innovative with their menu and always cook up the perfect, comforting flavours each season. From the original Pumpkin Spiced Latte to the new Apple Crisp Macchiato, there is definitely a flavour palette for everyone that is also always customizable. Speaking of customizable, let me put you onto my go-to Fall Starbucks drink that costs less than $5.00 for a Venti:
